Snoqualmie Valley Rotary has donated $5,000 to Rotary First Harvet, a hunger relief program in Washington State.
Eliminating hunger in the Snoqualmie Valley has been one of the local Rotary clubs goals over the past three years. More than 600,000 pounds of fresh food is purchased by Rotary each year.
“With this money Rotary First Harvest will be able to purchase approximately 200,000 pounds of food to help feed the needy and hungry here in our local community” stated Jeff Mumma, Rotary’s President.
