The open enrollment period for Medicare runs Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. To help people learn about their options with Medicare coverage, the Mount Si Senior Center in North Bend is hosting two presentations on the subject on Thursday, Sept. 8.

During the day’s lunch service, from noon to 12:45 p.m., the discussion will cover recent changes to Medicare.

A second session, Medicare 101, starts at 1 p.m. The presentation will cover what people need to know if they are enrolling in the program soon.
