Valley Record Publisher
After being editor of the Snoqualmie Valley Record for eight years, Seth Truscott recently left the helm of the Snoqualmie Valley Record to work as a public information officer for WSU’s School of Agriculture. Seth has done a stellar job epitomising the ethos of local community journalism in Snoqualmie Valley, and it has indeed been a pleasure to work alongside him. We at SVR wish Seth well in his new role.
I am also very pleased to announce that SVR reporter Carol Ladwig is being promoted to Snoqualmie Valley Record Editor. Carol brings four years experience as a prolific and multi-faceted journalist covering the city of North Bend, education and schools, features, crime, business, recreation and many other topics up and down the Valley.
As a former editor and reporter, Carol brings a wide variety of professional experience to the mix, writing for the Valley View and the River Current News publications before coming to the Valley Record. Her background also includes technical writing, community newsletter composition and grant writing in support of the arts and education.
With a longstanding finger on the pulse of the Snoqualmie Valley, Carol will bring the Record to new heights of community journalism.
She lives in Duvall with her husband, Jason, and their two cats.
Please join me in congratulating Carol in her new role.
