NORTH BEND – The King County Sheriff’s Office and Snoqualmie Valley School District officials are looking for clues that will lead to the arrest of those persons who have burglarized all three of the district’s schools in North Bend in just over a week.
Between Oct. 5 and Oct. 13, North Bend Elementary School, Opstad Elementary School and Two Rivers School were all vandalized and/or burglarized.
Although the King County Sheriff’s Office have spoken with some persons of interest, there currently are no suspects in the case.
The first incident occurred on Oct. 5 when a window was broken at North Bend Elementary, a school that has been hit especially hard by vandals due to its relative isolation from the surrounding neighborhood. The shattered window was found after an audio alarm that had been tripped alerted King County Sheriff and district officials to the building. Nothing was found stolen from the building.
