Downtown North Bend traffic expected day and night Aug. 10

North Bend residents should expect some traffic on Aug. 10.

In the morning, residents should expect some delays due to a production company filming scenes for an unnamed production. Drivers should expect to wait a few extra minutes if passing through downtown. The company is coordinating with both the city and county.

At night, private contractor crews will be performing a small pavement overlay project in front of the new Phoenix Plaza building at 530 E. North Bend Way, closing the westbound lane.

A detour will be provided. Work for the project will begin at 9 p.m. and last about five hours. Businesses in the area will remain open during construction.
