Firefighters Association awards Miranda Fischer scholarship

Mount Si High School graduate Miranda Fischer has been selected to receive a $500scholarship in health and fire services by the Snoqualmie Firefighters Association. Fischer, who graduated in 2016, is attending Boise State University.

The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association raises scholarship money through donations at their pancake breakfast and silent auction events during Snoqualmie Railroad Days every summer. The association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Snoqualmie Fire Department with special equipment requests and community events, education and outreach. The organization is made up of career and volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
