North Bend holds public hearing Oct. 4 on changes to school impact fees

The North Bend City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to the school impact fee to be collected for the Snoqualmie Valley School District in 2017, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Mount Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave. S., North Bend.
The school district has proposed new fees of $10,052 for single family homes, which represents nearly $2,000 more than last year’s fee of $8,491. The fee for each unit of multi-family housing, $1,291, however, is decrease of nearly $4,000, from last year’s fee of $1,658.
Citizens can share their comments in person at the hearing Oct. 4, or submit written comments to the North Bend City Clerk at City Hall, 211 Main Avenue N. (P.O. Box 896), North Bend, WA 98045. Comments must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. Monday Oct. 3.
