Public hearing for 15-home Cedar Landing plat is Sept. 14

The city of North Bend will hold a public hearing from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the North Bend Train Depot, 205 E. McClellan St., North Bend to take testimony on the proposed Cedar Landing Phase 3 preliminary plat.

Cedar Landing, a Quadrant Homes project, is proposed as a 124-lot subdivision.

The Phase 3 project is a 15-home subdivision of a 3.71 acre site at 13521 432nd Ave. S.E., North Bend. The average lot size is over 8,000 square feet. The property will connect to Stilson Avenue S.E. Planned improvements include streets with water and sewer, sidewalks and landscape strip, and stormwater infiltration systems.

The city reported that the project was not expected to have a significant, adverse effect on the area; no further environmental review is required.
