Washington State University Extension, King County, King Conservation District, and the Washington Department of Natural Resources will host the all-day outdoor event that features exhibits, equipment dealers, and experts teaching hourly workshops on forest health, wildlife, fire prevention, invasive brush, using chainsaws, using handheld GPS and cultivating edible mushrooms.
The cost to attend is $25 per person or $35 per couple before Aug. 26, $10 more per ticket after that date. The cost includes lunch. Children under 18 can attend free. Student and Master Gardener rates are also offered, call (206) 263-1128 for details.
