Mitrovic to compete in American Miss pageant

Scarlett Mitrovic of Snoqualmie has been named a state finalist in the National American Miss pageant for Washington State. She will compete in the state pageant Aug. 13 in Tacoma.

Scarlett Mitrovic of Snoqualmie has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Washington pageant, to be held Aug. 14 in Tacoma.

Mitrovic, age 9, swims with the TPC Tiger Sharks swim team, volunteers at her church and plays basketball. She is sponsored by Patrick Sprague, Ruby’s Spa, Big Star Studios, Ana’s Mexican Restaurant, SnoRidge Crossfit, Diamond Nails, Andre’s Cleaners and Phantom Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The winner of the state pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, crown, banner, and airfare to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland.
