North Bend students earn degrees in San Diego

Two area residents graduated from the University of San Diego on May 22.

Amanda Gates of North Bend earned a a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering. Gates completed the requirements for graduation in January.

Also a North Bend resident, K. Adwan earned a a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
