Rotary awards $12,000 in grant funding to local organizations

Snoqualmie Valley Rotary has announced its annual recipients of its 2016 grant funding, which amounted to $12,000.

Recipients of the Rotary grants for 2016 were: Echo Glen Vocational Barista Program, Art Gallery of SnoValley, Congregation for the Homeless, Falls Little League, Hopelink, Si View Foundation, Mount Si High School Robotics Team, Snoqualmie Elementary PTSA, Snoqualmie Valley Little League, Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association, Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and Ethiopia Water Projects.

Snoqualmie Valley Rotary awards grants to non-profit organizations serving people living in the Snoqualmie Valley. Awards are for specific items or programs identified by the organizations.

“This is what Rotary is all about, our motto of service above self is exemplified each year when we give back. We look forward to next year and giving back even more,” said Dan Marcinko, Rotary President.
