Fun run, breakfast to help Carnation’s summer campers

The 4th annual Camp Gilead River Run 5K & Pancake Breakfast is 9 a.m. Monday, May 26, at Camp Gilead, 30919 N.E. Carnation Farm Rd., Carnation.  All proceeds benefit camper scholarships, helping children experience summer camp.

Breakfast and a long sleeve T-shirt are included with race registration. Prizes are awarded for the top three male and female winners in each age group. Cost is $25.

The course is mostly flat and paved, winding through beautiful country roads along the Snoqualmie River with impressive mountain views, beginning and ending at Camp Gilead.

A pancake breakfast follows the race for all participants.
