North Bend homelessness: Winter shelter public meetings are set

The sponsors of the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter for the homeless are hosting two public meetings to answer questions and discuss the upcoming season. Meetings will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, both at the North Bend Community Church, 146 E. Third St., North Bend.

The shelter is scheduled to open at North Bend Community Church on Friday, Nov. 15.
