King County opens, closes Flood Warning Center as rainfall eases and rivers begin to drop

The King County Flood Warning Center opened, then closed Monday, Sept. 30, monitoring minor flood conditions on the Snoqualmie River.

The Flood Warning Center opened at 11:45 a.m. Monday, following a day of steady rainfall that brought the Snoqualmie River up to a Phase II flood alert level.

While the Flood Warning Center is now closed, King County staff will continue to monitor stream gages and weather reports, and will provide updated information on river conditions as necessary. Real-time river level information is available online at http://www.kingcounty.gov/flood.
