Dear Rev. Dr. James T. Elliott, your candid letter (March 14, Valley Record) impressed me.

Thank you for sharing a bit of your own emotional journey with the community and for speaking on behalf of others who may find it hard to do so themselves.

You showed love and genuine caring in writing in on behalf of gay couples.
