Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley names Students of Quarter

The Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley recently honored four outstanding local teens as its Students of the Quarter.
Carrie Miller is a soccer player and youth coach active in many school activities, including International Club, Key Club, Honor Society and Youth Suicide Prevention. She has volunteered for the Fall City Historical Society, Relay for Life, and Locks of Love. She plans to pursue a degree in International Studies at the UW.
Tyler Stewart is active in the culinary arts program and was the videographer for ASB projects and assemblies. He volunteers with Little League, and plans to attend the Seattle Art Institute.
Mik Metzler runs cross-country, is a Natural Helper, and belongs to the Green team and DECA. He is an Eagle Scout, Venture Crew President, and has logged hundreds of hours of community service. He plans to attend Western Washington University.
Dillon Bissell has taken a lead role in the culinary arts program, logging more than 350 hours in the kitchen, and has won state and national awards for culinary skills. His future plans are to earn a degree in food science from Johnson and Wells University.
