Marc Alan Avery
Marc Alan Avery of North Bend died April 7, 2011 near Lake Kachess. Marc was born June 21, 1959 in Seattle. A graduate of Olympia High School and Eastern Washington University, he was a general contractor for many years. In 2000, he became active in the Mankind Project for which he served as a leader and trainer. An accomplished skier and photographer, he was most at home in the woods and mountains. His survivors include son, Daniel; former wife, Christina (Mark)
Perrin; long time life partner, Denise Ragnone; father, Donald S. Avery of Lacey; mother, Anne Avery and her husband, James T. Elliott, Snoqualmie; and siblings Jane Ellen (Winfred) Seymour, North Bend, Mary Ruth (David) Johnson, Bellevue; Lance Avery, Olympia; Dwight (Poonum Vasishth) Avery, Gig Harbor; Tom (Melanie) Elliott, Los Angeles and Anne Elliott (Jim Barr),
Brooklyn, NY. Also nieces and nephews Morgan and Kyle Seymour; Mitchell, Alexis, Cameron and Lindsey Johnson; Quinci Adams and Taran Avery, Mikias Elliott and extended family. A celebration of Marc’s life will be held Sunday, May 22, at 4:00 p.m. at Camp Waskowitz, 45505 SE 150th Street, North Bend.
