Watch out for children walking to school
Published 1:21 am Friday, October 3, 2008
A reminder to drivers that with school back in session, they can
expect to see more kids along the roadways. For those children who live
close enough to school to walk, this can be a hazardous time of year. Be extra
careful. Also obey the 20-mph speed limit in the school zones.
Officers working in the city of Carnation will be enforcing the
20-mph zone on SR 203-Tolt Avenue at Morrison Street. This is in front
of Carnation Elementary. We want the drivers that travel this highway
to know that these children’s safety is a priority for us. Thank you.
