Old-timers feel fortunate in Fall City

Thanks to Jack Kelley’s and Gwyn Hart’s comments regarding Proposition No. 1 in behalf of Fall City Fire District No. 27, we’d like not only to support their efforts but assure them of our wholehearted support. LeRoy helped start the Fall City Fire Department in 1946, and was a volunteer firemen and secretary to the commissioners until his retirement in 1979.
We’ve known Tommie Brice, a very dedicated fireman, when he became part of our volunteer family in 1967. He has not only served our community all these years as a fireman, EMT, fire commissioner and Fall City water commissioner, but still dedicates his (spare) time to those things that are important to our way of life and in the best interests of our community – like helping on the new totem pole!
We, expressing our opinions as “old-timers,” support Tommie – we are fortunate to have him still connected with the Fall City Fire Department. Please renew your vote for him for Position No. 2 as commissioner. He has the knowledge and experience. And God bless the firefighters for all the work they do not only for our community, but for all the emergencies they handle for those motorists passing through. Thank you.
