On Monday, Dec. 15, King County sheriffs Scott Allen and Dave Hoag came to our troop meeting to collect food and toys that the girls had collected for Operation Santa Claus. The girls took great pride in helping out the needy in Snoqualmie Valley. This taught them the wonderful gift of giving that could be felt with the sheriffs’ presence. The sheriffs also gave them a talk on what a difference their contributions made.
After the sheriffs’ visit, Troop No. 2378 went Christmas caroling up and down the halls of Mount Si Transitional Health Center in North Bend. They brought smiles and Christmas cheer to the faces of the residents at the center.
