Children will benefit from successful auction

The parents, staff and friends of Mountain View School in Snoqualmie send out a hearty “thank you” to the Snoqualmie Valley community. We held our annual auction on May 5. This affair raised money to pay for this year’s enrichment programs (art, computer, French, gymnastics and music), and once again the auction was a success, due to the support of our community.
Many of the items and services contributed to the auction came from local businesses. If I try to list all of you, I know I will leave someone out. So I will simply say thanks to everyone for your support. Every contribution helped us reach our goal.
Thanks to all the local businesses that helped on the catering end – Adair’s On The Green, La Fogata, George’s Bakery, Gordy’s Steak and BBQ Smokehouse and the North Bend Bar and Grill. The crowd was well fed.
Auctions have become a fact of life for just about every nonprofit, and I know that it is not particularly pleasant to be bombarded with donation requests. Once again – thanks to each and every member of our community for extending your generosity to us. And finally, a big thank you from our children, the students at Mountain View, who have ultimately benefited from everyone’s efforts.
