Changes for familiar vet employee

Published 12:03 am Friday, October 3, 2008

Wow, 11 years have gone by. I remember the day Dr. Hogan and I had my “job interview,” walking back and forth on the Fall City river dike. And so began my rewarding days at North Bend Animal Clinic.

Since then I’ve gotten to know so many of you, our Valley’s finest citizens. I’ve greeted your delightful new pets (even gave CPR to some who weren’t breathing after their C-Section), and sadly bid goodbye to others as they breathed their last.

Life is moving on. Our family started a new business two years ago and it’s flourishing. More help is needed, and I’ll be filling the gap.

So, it’s bittersweet. I’ll miss the staff of North Bend Animal Clinic (Dr. Glen Howard, Dr. Stephanie Medlock, Terry, Nancy, Nomi, Malissa and Sadie). They not only care a lot about your pets, but also for each other in a one-for-all and all-for-one quality working environment.

And I’ll miss you. It’s been fun getting to know you. When the tough times hit, you were in my prayers and I got to rejoice with you in the happy times. There was almost a family atmosphere across the counter as I prepared your files, typed your receipts and weighed your furry friends. I’ll miss that.

But it’s exciting moving on into a promising future. Our family’s restaurant delivery service is providing meals for corporations in the 405 corridor. (With over 50 restaurants to choose from, the food choices are great). If we can help in your business, call us at (888) 467-8008.

I hope to see you often in upcoming days in the stores, streets or churches of our Valley. And the most important thing I want to leave you with is that “Jesus Loves You.” As with me, He wants to give you a future and a hope, and He will never disappoint you.
