Motor-vehicle access to the Snoqualmie Tree Farm has been suspended until ownership of the land is determined.
The Weyerhaeuser Co., which owns the more than 100,000 square-acres of land making up the tree farm, decided to stop granting permits for access via vehicle to the farm since it still remains for sale following a purchase-and-sale agreement reached last year between Weyerhaeuser and the Evergreen Forest Trust that hasn’t been finalized.
Weyerhaeuser spokesman Frank Mendizabal said people can still access the land on foot, bike and horse.
