‘Cats fall to Interlake

Mount Si boys’ basketball hit another snag on the road last week, falling to Interlake 59-45. Ryan Reilly led the scoring effort for Mount Si with 12, followed by Jeremy Johnston and Luke Landdeck each adding 11. Kyle Clearman had seven, and Erik Tierney had four. Mount Si was outscored 32-26 in the second half.


Gymnasts show best team score

The Mount Si gymnastics team traveled to Mercer Island for their final meet of the season and posted their best team score ever with 147.65 points.

Piper Sherbon placed eighth in all-around, eighth on floor, twelfth on the beam, sixth on the bars and tenth on the vault. Merritt Kott had her best floor routine score ever with an 8.3.

Sarah Lewis scored a 28.5 in all around competition with Casey Stinnett scoring a 27.4. Teammate Sam Baldwin had an impressive floor routine, scoring a 7.5. Mount Si hosts the League meet on Sat. ,Feb. 7, at 4:45 p.m.
