KING COUNTY – Michael Earl Hudson, the man accused of breaking into the home of a North Bend couple in July and sexually assaulting a woman, has pleaded not guilty to the rape and burglary charges.

Hudson, 18, was arraigned on Aug. 30 in King County Superior Court.

County officials claim Hudson broke into the home in the early hours of July 30. Sheriff’s deputies were able to find Hudson, who was camping in the woods off Boalch Avenue, and arrest him on Aug. 18.

If convicted of the two charges, Hudson faces approximately 10 years in prison.
