Correction

In the story called “Snoqualmie Looking forward to river widening completion” on page A1 of the July 7 Valley Record, the flood reduction benefit of the 205 Project was inaccurate.

During a 100-year flood event, the flood level in Snoqualmie could be reduced by as much as 1.6 feet, not 1.6 inches.

The Valley Record regrets the error.
