Solomon pitches no-hitter in big win for Mount Si

Mount Si’s baseball team went 2-1 in the past week, with two big wins bookending a narrow loss at Safeco Field.

On Monday, March 27, the Wildcats were at Inglemoor, where the team claimed an 11-1 win over the Vikings.

Mount Si challenged Lake Washington at Safeco Field in the annual High School Baseball Classic Saturday. It was a close game, ending in a 2-1 loss for Mount Si.

The biggest game of the past week, resulting in a no-hitter for pitcher Nick Solomon, was Wednesday, March 22. The Wildcats hosted West Seattle at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue,.

Solomon struck out 10 players and Mount Si shut out the West Seattle team, 15-0.

Mount Si leads the conference going into Wednesday’s home game with Woodinville, 7 p.m.
