Mount Si's golf team seemingly bucked the trend of what would normally be considered a year for rebuilding by finishing among two other schools in a three-way tie for first place in KingCo 4A.
On Oct. 6, the Cedarcrest Cross Country squad competed at a Cascade Conference meet at South Whidbey High School. This course is the same course that Cedarcrest will run in three weeks for the District Championship meet, making it a good opportunity to preview the course for their District squad.
Mount Si Volleyball lost against Issaquah on Wednesday, Oct. 5, bringing their overall season record to four wins and five losses.
The Cedarcrest Equestrian Team is now taking registration, through Oct. 14. The team, formed last year, is part of District 7 in the Washington High School Equestrian Team program.

On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Cedarcrest cross country squad competed in the Apple Ridge Invitational in Cowiche. The Cedarcrest boys finished with two wins; the girls placed second in the first race and had strong placements in all the day's events.
Mount Si's girls varsity volleyball team has gotten off to a strong start for the 2016 season, with two 3-0 wins, a tournament and one 0-3 loss so far, plus a home game on Tuesday, Sept. 20, against Bothell.
In a game marked by penalties and two scoreless quarters, the Mount Si High School football team still found some wins to celebrate after its Sept. 17 loss to the Bothell Cougars, 31-21.
