Mount Si volleyball teams lose to North Creek

Both Mount Si Volleyball teams lost their recent matches against North Creek High School on Thursday, Oct. 12. The varsity team lost in a 4-1 set taking the first game 16-25, but losing the next three games 25-22, 25-21, and 25-18.

Player stats included:

Molly Gill 5 digs;

Jessica Hanners 23 assists, 2 aces, 7 digs, 0.5 blocks;

Dana Kenow 7 digs;

Breana Fitzgerald 9 kills, 3 digs, 3 blocks;

Lillian Bachand 1 assist, 6 aces, 16 digs;

Emma Anderson 3 kills, 3 digs;

Hayley West 5 kills, 3 digs, 1.5 blocks;

Adrianna Auxier 2 aces, 13 digs;

Sara Kaitlyn Mitchell 1 kill, 5 digs, 1 block;

Annalise Jensen 1 kill, 3 digs, 3.5 blocks;

Bellah Gogan 5 kills, 1 dig, 0.5 blocks;

Chloe Stewart 1 ace, 2 digs;

Tori BearBow 2 digs;

The varsity season record is now 4-6 overall.

The JV team also lost in a 3-0 set. North Creek won 16-25, 25-22, and 15-12.

Megan Underbrink 5-kills, 1 ace, 2 digs, 0.5-blocks;

Salina Loucks 1 kill, 2 aces, 6-digs;

Camille Lyles 1 kill, 1 ace, 4-digs;

Lizzie Belceto 3-kills, 1 dig, 1.5-blocks;

Mady Reed 1 ace, 5-digs;

Chloe Stewart 1 assist, 4-aces, 21 digs;

Megan Simpson 1 kill, 10-assists, 3-aces, 9-digs;

Tori BearBow 1 ace, 8-digs;

Their record this season is 5-5 overall.

Mount Si Volleyball’s next match is at home on Saturday, Oct. 21, against Eisenhower High School.
