Mount Si earn decisive win at homecoming game

The Mount Si Wildcats took their third win of the season on Friday, Oct. 21 at the Homecoming game, which as also their last home game of the season.

Despite a rough season with some tough games, Mount Si fed off the crowds energy and played a dominating game against Inglemoor winning 63-21.

The game began with three touchdowns within the first six minutes of the game: a 25-yard pass to Jesiah Irish from Cale Millen, a 5-yard run by Max Bonda, and a 14-yard pass to Irish from Zeke Barden.

The team didn’t stop there, continuing its scoring run with a 64-yard touchdown pass to Irish from Millen, a 1-yard pass to Justin Lutz from Millen, and a 17-yard pass to Bonda from Millen

Mount Si controlled the game in the first half, going into halftime 42-7.

In the second half, Mount Si continued their dominance with three more touchdowns to finish the game: a 69-yard pass to Bonda from Millen, a 2-yard run by Kyle Fraser, and a 1-yard run by Austin Ross.

Mount Si’s final game of the season is Friday, Oct. 28 against Newport at Newport High School.
