Mount Si Basketball loses to Eastlake and Bothell

After taking their second win of the season over Issaquah on Dec. 7, the Mount Si High School girls basketball team was unable to overcome Eastlake and Bothell in its most recent two games.

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Mount Si lost to Eastlake 43-61. On Friday, Dec. 16, they dropped another game to Bothell, 35-60.

Similar to the girls team, the Mount Si boys lost to Eastlake and Bothell as well. They finished their Tuesday, Dec. 13 match against Eastlake at 31-76. Their Bothell match on Friday, Dec. 16 also ended in a loss with 58-66.

Both teams played Newport Dec. 19, before winter break, but split in the results. The girls lost 38-48; the boys won, 71-37.

The boys won’t play again until, Jan. 3, at Skyline. The girls have one more match before the new year, Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Juanita.
