Mount Si athletes named to KingCo All-League teams

Mount Si High School has several fall sports athletes who were named to the All-KingCo Conference 4A teams, in the sports of golf, football, volleyball, girls soccer and girls swimming.

The boys golf team saw two of its own named to the first All-League team, Drew Warford and Jordan Lau. Jake Brady received an honorable mention and the team coach, Brandon Proudfoot, was named co-coach of the year, along with Frank Nimmo of Newport High School.

In football, wide receiver Jesiah Irish, made the first team, offense, and inside linebacker Jack Weidenbach made the first team defense. On second team offense were wide receiver Eric Daniels and guard Collin Fleisch. On second team defense were defensive end Brennan Dalgliesh and inside linebacker Carter McFadden. Honorable mentions also went to running back Max Bonda, offensive tackle Michael Collins, cornerback Carnson Corra and outside linebacker Justin Lutz.

In volleyball, setter Courteney Car and libero Cameron Kendall were named to the first team, and outside hitter Katie McCreadie was named to the second team. Sophie Click and Emma Anderson received honorable mentions.

In soccer, midfielder Natalie Weidenbach was named to the first team. Olivia Henning, Bella DiDomenico, and Sarah Creighton all received honorable mentions.

From the Mount Si girls swim team, Emi Yoshikawa received honorable mention.
