Mike Gavronski, a Mount Si High School graduate, won a much-anticipated boxing bout May 30 at the Emerald Queen Casino.

Gavronski, nicknamed “Imagine Me” with  and 18-1-1 record,  took on Tyrell “Hollywood” Hendrix (11-7-2) in a rematch of their 2011 fight which was televised on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.

Gavronski sent his opponent to the canvas in the ninth round, for a TKO victory.
