Mount Si senior wide receiver Jonny Barrett has committed to play football next season at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

On his Twitter page on Jan. 15, he wrote:

“I first want to thank the Lord and my family for guiding me through this journey. My family, friends, and the whole Mount Si community has showed tremendous support that can’t be appreciated enough. I thank all of my coaches, teammates, and teachers for bringing out the best of me these last 4 years. This recruiting process has been a difficult but fun time for me and it is all worth it. I have found a place that has exceeded my expectations athletically and academically as well as the connections I have made with the coaching staff and community. It is clear and in my heart that I want to be a part of this family. With that being said, I have found my new home at DARTMOUTH COLLEGE!”

USA TODAY High School Sports named Barrett to its 2018 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Washington Football Team. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Wildcat is an offense first-team selection, and during his senior season, Barrett had 95 receptions for 1,568 yards and 28 touchdowns.
