The KJ (Kent Juniors) Volleyball Club U-18 girls volleyball team earned a berth to the national Junior Olympic volleyball team this summer after a top-four finish at the Northern Lights Qualifier in Minneapolis, MN, April 23 through 25.

KJ, which features current Mount Si High School varsity volleyball player Aubrey Larion and former Wildcat varsity player Summer Nash, beat teams from all over the nation to earn the coveted berth out of the 18-open division, for 18-and-under club teams.

There were three other teams there with Mount Si players; none of those teams did nearly as well and did not earn national berths.
