Kanim Hawks split Tolt matches

The Chief Kanim Middle School seventh and eighth grade varsity basketball teams split their two games with the visiting Tolt teams on Tuesday, March 9.

The Hawks eighth grade team got off to a fast start and never looked back, while the 7th grade team rallied, but in the end came up a little short. Coaches Chris Blake and Vince Johnston said they were pleased with the teams' efforts.

Seventh grade standouts included Cade Reniker with 19 points, Bjorn Stai with 11 points, Will Raymond with five points, Royce Shwartzenberger with five points, Justin Clock with four points, Jason Chapman with two points and Bobby Tompson with two points.

Eighth grade stars included Jameson Showers with 16 points, Jackson Nelson with 22 points, Jack Hunt with six points, Ethan Seneker with six points, Jordan Chapman with five points, Randall Clark with four points, Chris Annette with four points and Jake Archambeau with two points.
