Si View Metro Parks is offering an expansive recreational basketball program for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Whether it is a child’s first experience picking up a basketball or an extracurricular activity for a young adult, this league focuses on creating a fun and educational environment.

Children enrolled in the program attend weekly skills sessions during the regular season, which runs from Jan. 9 through Feb. 27. Sessions allow for building of fundamentals and interaction in a fun team atmosphere. Games are played on Saturdays during at local Snoqualmie Valley schools. Each division of teams consists of two grade levels.

Every player will make a team. Season fee is $75 per player and includes a reversible basketball jersey.
