Young Wildcats turned in a dominating performance on Sunday, Nov. 22, when the Snoqualmie Valley Wrestling Club traveled to the Western Washington Kids Wrestling League Preseason Tournament in Sammamish.

The club took first place with 14 fewer wrestlers than second-place Lake Stevens. The Wildcats were led by Henry Foster, Zach Hall and Benton Grisso, who pinned all of their opponents.

First place finishers included Mason Rossen, Isaac Taklo, Jackson Buell, Brody Belair, Devun Rossen, Cole Bostwick, Payton Barnett and Dakota McFall. Second place finishers were Waylan Belair, Emmit Crowder, Tryon Kaess, Noah Ribary, Tychon Preston and Dawson Schneider. Third place finishers were Jason Jarvin, Jack Schnepf, Dixon Hunt, Connor Kaeberlin, Wyatt Webb and Damon Jones. Fourth place finishers were Jacob Hall, Matt Flath, Luke Harper, Memphis McFall, Max Crowder and Alexander Bourlin.

For many members, this was their first time wrestling against an opponent outside the club.
