The Chief Kanim Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team played strong against Twin Falls last Wednesday evening, Dec. 2, beating the Ravens 21-7.

Sophia Rouches didn’t miss a shot, leading the team with eight points and five steals. Jenny and Nikki Carrol each added four points to the board.

The seventh grade varsity basketball team also hosted the Ravens. The girls exeuted their offence effectively and played agressive defense. Hawks standouts included Kenzie Kendall with eight points and eight steals, Hannah Taylor with 10 points, Kennedy McCann with six points and five steals, Sarah Brevik with 10 points, Kenzie Popp and Eleni Trull with two points, Taylor Cays with six points and Kayla Stielen and Reannah Klassen with strong team defense.
