North Benders gain division win

The North Benders 13-and-younger girls soccer team won their division at the 2009 Issaquah Kickoff Soccer Tournament held Aug. 21 to 23. The girls won the championship game 1-0 on a goal by Gretchen Chase. Sarah Kirschner and Hannah Wilhelm provided the shut-out goaltending. All hailing from the Valley, most players are about to enter the seventh grade at Twin Falls Middle School.
