Seahawks Cup winners named at Boeing Classic

After two beautiful days at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, the winner of the Seahawks Cup was determined in a tough competition Thursday, Aug. 20, in the Seahawks Pro-Am.
Paired with Gary Hallberg on Wednesday and Mike Hulbert on Thursday, the team from Comcast/Golf Channel reigned victorious with a combined score of 110 (55-55).
The runner-up from Columbia Distributing posted a two-round score 112 (53-59).
Tom Purtzer led his teams to individual day competition wins on both Wednesday and Thursday, recording a 53 on Wednesday and a 52 on Thursday.
In other Boeing Classic action, Allen Doyle aced the sixth hole in the morning Pro-Am Thursday.
With a Hybrid 5 in his hands and 198 yards from the hole, Doyle stepped up to the tee box at the sixth hole, landed the ball on the green and then watched it roll in to the cup to notch the 19th hole-in-one of his career.
Tom Kite arrived in Seattle Thursday following the unveiling of Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, N.J. Kite tees off noon Friday.
