The fifth hole on Cle Elum's Suncadia Prospector Golf Course is 325 yards, but Snoqualmie Valley-resident Eric Forslin decided to take a shortcut over a water hazard. The Mount Si High School graduate unwinded with his three wood, sending the ball sailing onto the green, where it rolled into the hole for a hole in one on a par four hole.

Forslin started playing golf as a 5-year-old with the junior golf program at Mount Si Golf Course. He currently plays on the golf club at Central Washington University in Ellensberg. He graduated from Mount Si High School in 2006.

The Suncadia course was designed by Arnold Palmer.
