SMS cross country team completes season

The Snoqualmie Middle School Eagles recently finished their cross country season in a big way.

Thirteen of 15 Eagles posted their best time of the season, at finals held Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Lake Sammamish State Park that included nine middle schools.

Emma Bateman, Tainui Wihongi, Alanna Hayes, Spencer Ricks, Erin Rylands, Colby Weldon, Anders Howard, Kennedy Ray, Lily Cason, Aaron Robey, Kevin Pusich, Kennedy Stinson and Annie Shaw all posted their best times at the meet.

The Eagles celebrated with a party Thursday, Oct. 23 at SMS. Aaron Robey was given special recognition for improving his time at each meet.

This season, the SMS team consisted of Bateman, Wihongi, Hayes, Ricks, Rylands, Brennen Rose, Weldon, Mason Maddux, Howard, Ray, Cason, Alex Johns, Robey, Pusich, Katie Kutner, Stinson and Shaw.
