The Mount Si High School boys’ golf team was tested last week, with three tough matches in three straight days.

They passed the test, though, with flying colors, and now expectations are high for a great postseason run.

Mount Si opened the week last Monday, Oct. 6 with a win over Garfield. Six Wildcats shot rounds under 40 as Mount Si took the match 183-202.

Jack Kelly took the medalist honors for top score, firing a round of 33 to lead Mount Si. Luke Dietsch’s 36, Bradley Harrelson, Bryce Karalus and Mike Rutledge’s 38s, and Brandon Snyder’s 39 were the other Mount Si rounds under 40. Matt Prewett shot a 40.
