Cedarcrest outpaces Mount Si in final meet

The Red Wolves played genial host to their opposites from the Upper

Valley on Thursday night, Oct. 14; and when the dust had settled, the

home team had downed the guests in both events.

Cedarcrest's James Conrick led the field in the men's race, crossing

the line with a time of 16:47. Teammates Eric Pedeferri (17:30) and

Danny Abell (17:31) came next, followed by Mount Si's Payton Thompson with

a 17:36. Chris Lee (Cedarcrest, 18:04), Mike MacRae (Mount Si, 18:13),

Pat Conrick (Cedarcrest, 18:45), Chris Farmer (Cedarcrest, 18:52),

M.J. Crandall (Mount Si, 18:58), and Joel Eib (Mount Si, 18:59) rounded out

the field.

Girls _ Cedarcrest 15, Mount Si DNQ

In the women's contest, the Wolves dominated, placing five in

the top eight. Cedarcrest's Kelly Ramirez finished the 3.03 course first with

a time of 21:53, with teammates Yingxuan Law (22:40), Maggie

Diaz (25:39), Sarah Green (26:55) and Jodi Sprague (31:11) placing second,

fifth, seventh and eighth respectively. The Wildcats' top runner was Katie

Childs, who came in third with a time of 23:05. Ashley Wiegardt (23:39)

and Sarah Coffey (26:18) took fourth and sixth.

Next on the schedule for both teams is the KingCo league meet,

at Lake Sammamish Park, on Thursday, Oct. 21.
