SEATTLE - Class of 2000 Mount Si High School graduates Jason Arriaga and Ben Eaton were part of the North Seattle Community College Storm basketball team that went to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges' conference playoffs.

The NWAACC is comprised of 37 community colleges in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The top 16 teams competed last week in the conference tournament at Shoreline Community College. The Storm lost to the Lower Columbia Community College Red Devils in the first round.

The Storm won five of its last six games and turned last year's 9-18 record around to post a 21-8 mark this year.

Arriaga averaged 10.5 points per game for the season and shot 86 percent at the free-throw line. Eaton was instrumental this season in shooting both 56 percent from inside the three-point arch and 57 percent from three-point range.
