The Cedarcrest football team came back from a 16-0 half-time deficit to win 20-19 over Liberty last Friday.
Cody Petterson caught two touchdown passes, including a 72-yard grab in the fourth quarter that gave the Red Wolves the win.
The winning touchdown came immediately after Liberty's Michael Book booted a 45-yard field goal. He also had a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter.
Cedarcrest quarterback Sean McDonald completed six passes for 142 yards, with no interceptions and two touchdown passes. Sean O'Neal rushed for 147 yards on 18 carries.
Liberty took the early lead with a 41-yard run for a score by Sam Merrill and Perry Graham's 36-yard reception from Mkristo Bruce. The Cedarcrest defense blocked the kick, which proved to be the winning margin.
The Red Wolves are now 2-2 and tied with Issaquah and Mount Si for fourth place in the KingCo league, while Liberty fell to 1-3. Cedarcrest plays Newport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Tolt Field in Carnation.
