A look at two local athletes that placed at state. In addition, Kristen Berndt competed in the javelin and Ashley Van Oeveren competed in the discus. Nick Verbon also placed fourth in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.42 seconds and sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.73 seconds.
