The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association recently held a soccer camp on the Snoqualmie Ridge soccer fields. The Challenger British soccer camp had more than 100 participants and featured eight coaches from Great Britain. The coaches, who were hosted by several local families, travel the country all summer teaching soccer skills. Children learn all aspects of the game with an emphasis on ball skills. Another camp will be held at Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation Aug. 4-9. For more information, contact Tricia Clearman, camp coordinator, at (425) 831-2026.
